Integrations

Use the Integrations page to connect external tools and track their connection status.

The page is organized into three tabs:

  • All: Everything available today + what’s coming soon.
  • Connected: Only integrations currently connected for your organization.
  • Coming Soon: Integrations planned but not yet enabled.

Available Integrations

Jira

Connect Jira Cloud to sync projects and issues for timesheets and task visibility.

Slack

Coming soon. Channel notifications for submissions, approvals, and important updates.

Notion

Coming soon. Documentation sync and richer project knowledge tracking.

For step-by-step instructions to connect Jira, see the Jira Integration page.

Email delivery (SMTP/Resend) is configured separately; see the Email (SMTP / Resend) documentation page.

Jira: Connect

When Jira is not connected, the Jira card shows an Available status and a Connect Jira button.

  1. Open the Integrations page.
  2. In the Jira card, click Connect Jira.
  3. You’ll be redirected to Jira/Atlassian to approve access.
  4. After approval, you’ll return to StartupMode and see a Connecting to Jira message while the app finalizes the connection.
  5. Once connected, you’ll see a green Success alert (it auto-hides after a few seconds).

Jira: Connected State

Once connected, the Jira card will show:

  • Connected badge
  • Site: the Jira base URL (your Atlassian site)
  • Connected date

Actions shown in the UI:

  • View Tasks: appears once StartupMode can fetch Jira projects; opens the Jira tasks view.
  • Reconnect and Remove: available in the UI when your organization has enabled them.

Coming Soon: Slack & Notion

The following integrations are coming soon and cannot be connected yet:

  • Slack (Communication)
  • Notion (Documentation & Notes)

They appear in the UI with a Soon badge so you can plan future workflows.

How to Check Status

Go to Integrations and use the tabs:

  • Connected tab: shows only integrations currently connected.
  • All tab: shows connected integrations plus available and coming-soon items.

The UI uses badges like Connected, Available, and Soon.

Troubleshooting

If View Tasks doesn’t appear after connecting Jira, your organization may need to complete the Jira connection. Contact your administrator or StartupMode support.
