Jira Tasks

The Jira Tasks experience helps you browse issues across connected Jira projects without leaving StartupMode.

What you can do

Filter & Search

Filter by project, search text, assignee, and reporter.

All Issues (List)

Review issues in a list with status badges and quick “Open in Jira”.

Kanban View

Visualize work by status with a horizontally scrollable board.

Refresh Data

Refresh to pull newer Jira data when cached results are shown.

If Jira is not connected

If Jira isn’t connected yet, you’ll see an error banner asking you to connect Jira from Integrations.

Use the filters card to narrow down what you see:

  • Project: show issues from a specific Jira project or all projects.
  • Search: find issues by keywords in summary/description.
  • Assignee: focus on a specific owner.
  • Reporter: track issues created by a specific person.
  1. Choose a project (optional).
  2. Type a search query and run the search.
  3. Add assignee/reporter filters when you need a narrower view.
  4. Refresh data if the results look out of date.

Tabs: All Issues, Kanban, Recently Updated

All Issues

The All Issues tab shows:

  • issue key and summary
  • project key
  • assignee and reporter (when available)
  • status badge
  • a quick link to open the issue in Jira

You can move through results using next/previous controls.

Kanban view

The Kanban tab groups issues by status (for example: To Do, In Progress, In Review, Done).

  • Column order can be rearranged and is remembered in your browser.
  • The kanban view loads more issues at once than the list view to fill the board.

Recently updated

This tab is reserved for a dedicated “recently updated” view and may show a “coming soon” message.
