Token Gamification

The Token Gamification system is designed strictly for gamifying the platform experience and recognizing a competitive edge among team members. By awarding tokens for daily activities, you can foster a culture of engagement, healthy competition, and continuous productivity.

Currently, this system operates as an internal points-based ledger. However, our long-term vision is to bridge these internal tokens with real-world blockchain infrastructure, transforming gamified points into tangible, decentralized assets.

The Future: Blockchain Integration

While the current token system is a powerful gamification tool, our roadmap includes a deep integration with blockchain technology. This transition will elevate internal tokens from simple engagement metrics to verifiable, decentralized assets.

On-Chain Verification

Future updates will allow tokens to be minted on a blockchain (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon, or Solana). Every earned token will be recorded on an immutable public ledger, providing cryptographic proof of a team member’s contributions and achievements.

Tokenized Equity & Rewards

Internal tokens could eventually be swapped for company equity tokens, stablecoins, or governance tokens. This creates a direct pipeline between daily productivity and actual financial or voting stakes in the organization.

Smart Contract Automation

Reward distributions will be governed by smart contracts. When a timesheet is approved or a milestone is reached, the smart contract will automatically execute the token transfer, eliminating administrative overhead and ensuring absolute trust.

Interoperability & Portability

By moving to a Web3 standard (like ERC-20), team members will truly own their earned tokens in their personal crypto wallets. They can carry their verified reputation and rewards across different platforms and ecosystems.

Configuring Gamification

To set up your organization’s reward system, navigate to Organization > Token Gamification.

System Control

The foundation of your gamification strategy begins here. You can toggle the entire Token Gamification System on or off.

When active, the system immediately begins tracking eligible actions and awarding tokens based on your configured rules. If disabled, token tracking pauses, but historical balances are preserved.

Token Configuration

Customize the identity and economics of your internal currency to match your company culture.

  • Token Name & Symbol: Give your rewards a unique identity (e.g., “AcmeCo Points” with the symbol “ACP”, or “DevCredits” as “DC”).
  • Total Supply: Define the maximum number of tokens available in your organization’s pool. This creates a sense of scarcity and value.
  • Token Statistics: Monitor the Current Supply and the total number of Distributed tokens in real-time through visual summary cards.

Reward Configuration

Define exactly how many tokens are awarded for specific organizational actions. This allows you to incentivize the behaviors that matter most to your team.

  • Timesheet Approval: Reward members for timely and accurate time tracking.
  • Admin Task Completion: Incentivize the completion of administrative or operational tasks.
  • Task Creation: Encourage proactive planning and issue logging.
  • Member Onboarding: Reward team members who help integrate new hires into the organization.

Bonus Multipliers

Boost engagement by offering multipliers for exceptional effort or consistency.

  • Streak Bonus: Reward consistent daily submissions. You can set a specific Streak Threshold (e.g., 5 days) and a Bonus Multiplier to amplify rewards for maintaining the streak.
  • Weekend Work Bonus: Acknowledge extra effort by applying a multiplier to tasks completed over the weekend.
  • High Priority Task Bonus: Incentivize the rapid resolution of urgent issues by attaching a bonus multiplier to high-priority items.

Display Settings

Control how gamification data is presented to the team to maximize motivation while respecting privacy preferences.

  • Show Leaderboard: Display team rankings to foster healthy competition and public recognition.
  • Show Real-time Updates: Enable live notifications when someone earns tokens, creating a dynamic and celebratory environment.
  • Show Personal Rank: Allow individuals to see their specific ranking position relative to the rest of the team.

Future Vision: The Dual-Token Web3 Economy

You might wonder: Why allow custom Token Names and Symbols instead of just using standard Fiat or Stablecoins (like USDC)?

The answer lies in our long-term Web3 roadmap. By allowing organizations to define their own custom tokens today, we are laying the groundwork for a Dual-Token Hybrid Model in the future. This model bridges the gap between internal company culture and real-world financial liquidity.

Phase 1: Proof of Work (The Custom Token)

The custom token you configure today (e.g., ACP for AcmeCo Points) will eventually be deployed as an organization-specific smart contract (ERC-20) on the blockchain.

  • Reputation & Governance: These tokens represent a verifiable “Proof of Contribution.” They can be used for internal DAO-style voting (e.g., voting on company initiatives) or as a metric for performance reviews.
  • Tokenized Equity (ESOP): Custom tokens can act as digital stock options, representing a fractional stake in the company’s future success, complete with programmable vesting schedules.

Phase 2: The Liquidity Pool (Stablecoins)

While custom tokens build culture and equity, employees also need real-world value. In the future, organizations will be able to deposit a budget of Fiat-pegged Stablecoins (e.g., USDC or USDT) into a secure company smart contract.

Phase 3: The Redemption Bridge

At the end of a cycle (e.g., monthly or quarterly), the platform will facilitate a decentralized swap:

  • Cash Out: Team members can choose to redeem a portion of their earned custom tokens (ACP) for a slice of the Stablecoin liquidity pool (USDC).
  • Hold for Equity: Alternatively, members can hold onto their custom tokens, treating them as long-term investments or equity stakes in the organization.

By setting up your custom Token Name & Symbol now, you are not just creating a gamified points system—you are minting the future currency of your organization’s micro-economy.
