Jira Integration
Connect your Jira Cloud workspace to StartupMode so your team can browse issues and link daily work to Jira without leaving the app.
What you get
- Jira Tasks: A dedicated view to browse and filter issues from your Jira projects (list and kanban).
- Timesheet linking: When logging time, members can attach Jira issue keys so work is tied to the right tickets.
- Open in Jira: One click from any issue to open it in Jira for full context.
How to connect Jira
- Log in to StartupMode as an Admin or Super Admin (founder).
- Go to Organization → Integrations (or open
/org/integrations). - Find the Jira card and click Connect Jira.
- You’ll be sent to Atlassian to sign in and approve access for your organization.
- After you approve, you’re brought back to StartupMode. The app will finish connecting; when ready, the Jira card will show Connected and a View Tasks link.
Once connected, everyone in the organization can use the Jira Tasks page (when they have access) and link Jira issues in their timesheets.
What you need
- A Jira Cloud site (Atlassian account).
- Admin or Super Admin rights in StartupMode to connect (or ask your founder or admin to connect it).
If Connect Jira doesn’t work
Your organization may need to complete the Jira connection on our side first. Contact your administrator or reach out to StartupMode support to get it enabled.
