How tasks are organized
Your tasks view is optimized for execution:
- tasks are grouped by status
- you can filter to a single status
- each task shows priority, due date, and assignment context
Status Updates
Start work, submit for review, or resume based on the current status.
Task Detail
Open a task to see its full description, metadata, and discussion.
Comments
Use comments to align with your Admin and document progress.
Status lifecycle
Common statuses you will use:
- TODO: not started
- IN_PROGRESS: currently working
- IN_REVIEW: ready for Admin review
- BLOCKED: cannot continue (waiting on input)
- COMPLETED: marked complete after approval
Your available actions depend on the task status.
- TODO → click Start to move to IN_PROGRESS.
- IN_PROGRESS → click Submit for Review to move to IN_REVIEW.
- IN_PROGRESS → click Block to move to BLOCKED.
- IN_REVIEW or BLOCKED → click Resume to move back to IN_PROGRESS.
Task code and sharing
Tasks may include a short task code. You can copy it to:
- reference the task in a message
- attach it to a timesheet summary
- find it quickly in discussions
Task detail page
Opening a task shows:
- full title and description
- priority and status
- due date context (including overdue cues)
- comment thread for updates and decisions
